Yup, towing mirrors are the same as the RAM DS

Okay I dislike the hood badge too, but so does everyone. I’m holding out for better looking hood as seen on prototypes and test mules.

As long as the badge is just a stick on, then no biggie.  A heat gun and some fishing line will take care of that monstrosity.

Why don’t you like that style tow mirrors?

They’re unique to the Ram, so make the truck stand out a bit from the others. Plus, they’re more aerodynamic when flipped down.

This is a major update, but not a complete redesign. There were parts from the old truck that were good enough already (such as the engine, transmission, suspension, mirrors...) so they were kept.

But this is the only VISIBLE part. The regular non-towing mirrors do not look like the DS models, so why not at least TRY to make the DT’s a little different?

It’s a Chrysler product, look for the most reasonable explanation.

The people in charge of designing the new mirrors probably finished up the new version of the regular ones, then went out and got drunk to celebrate. Once they sobered up, they realized that they forgot to do anything new with the towing mirrors. Somebody then said “Ah, fuck it - just use the old ones.”
